Club Activities

    Activities

    •  Regular meeting the first Tuesday of each month at 630 PM  where we conduct business, report on fishing and sometimes have a speaker of interest. 
    •  “Bull Session” the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. Fly tying and fish stories. 
    •  “Saturday Clinic” the third Saturday of the month at 9 AM. Casting practice and tutoring, fly tying and instruction and a free gourmet lunch.  Rods available to practice with if you don't have one of your own.  All tying materials provided.
    •  “Flies & Lies” newsletter around the first of the month.  To receive via email, join the club https://ffnwf.org/membership
    •  Fishing trips  to local fishing hot spots and exotic destinations as announced at regular meetings and in Flies & Lies. 
    •  Annual Fundraiser at the May regular Clinic.  A fun fund raising event where members and guests bid with gusto on rods, reels, tackle, flies, etc. donated by members and merchants. 
    •  Annual Banquet, usually in December. Dinner, door prizes, sometimes a program, great raffle prizes often including new rods and reels. 
    •  Annual fly fishing class taught by volunteers from our club every  spring.  
    •  Boy Scouts of America summer camp classes in fly fishing and fly tying taught by club members.
